UPM Raflatac’s Vanish range of ultra-thin, clear PET label faces have been introduced to the European market. At 23-microns, these thin and robust materials delivering a no-label look are designed for rendering innovative, seamless and high quality imagery.

For food labeling on rigid plastic and glass packaging, Vanish labels allow consumers an excellent view of the product together with the brand, instilling the confidence to buy. According to the company, Vanish label faces use fewer raw materials than competing brands, making them a more economical and sustainable choice.

For beverage labeling, Vanish is a suitable replacement for screen printing on bottles and a preferred choice for cans. Self-adhesive printing technology enables numerous brand differentiation opportunities with effects, including fluctuating opacity, raised textures, scents, and glow-in-the-dark or UV fluorescent print. That’s in addition to a considerable reduction of working capital on pre-printed container stocks and greater flexibility in production.

For personal care labeling, the Vanish labelstock combinations incorporate smooth PET liners for an optimally clear adhesive wet-out. Therefore, brand-owners can maximize the dramatic effect of their visuals on rigid containers. Cut corners are no longer visible, circular or irregular patterns are possible, and new opportunities surface for transparency, metallic accentuation and opaque lettering.
